Celebrate Financial Literacy Month with Jackson Charitable Foundation

April is Financial Literacy Month and at the Jackson Charitable Foundation, we are excited to support two major campaigns with our partners, Ramsey Education and Discovery Education.

Jackson Charitable Foundation Sponsors Ramsey Solutions' Financial Literacy Month Teacher Appreciation Giveaway

Jackson Charitable Foundation is pleased to again serve as the presenting sponsor of Financial Literacy Month with Ramsey Solutions this April. One highlight is the Teacher Appreciation Giveaway, which invites educators to enter to win a $5,000 cash prize or other prizes to recognize tremendous contributions made toward the financial knowledge of students.

Tune In to The Dave Ramsey Show on April 7 and April 20 to Hear from Jackson Charitable Foundation

Danielle Robinson, Jackson Charitable Foundation Executive Director, will join Dave Ramsey to discuss the importance of financial education for students on The Dave Ramsey Show. They will also share how high schools can access sponsorships from Jackson Charitable Foundation for Ramsey Education's Foundations in Personal Finance curriculum. Tune in to hear the conversation on Tuesday, April 7 at 1:15 p.m. CDT.

On April 20, join Anthony ONeal for a Financial Literacy Theme Hour on The Dave Ramsey Show. Anthony will be speaking with teachers across the country, like Lothar Konietzko, about how Foundations in Personal Finance sponsored by Jackson Charitable Foundation makes a difference for their students.

2020 Cha-ChingTM Money Smart Kids Pledge Challenge

The fourth annual competition for the Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids Pledge Challenge, presented by Discovery Education and Jackson Charitable Foundation, opened March 24, 2020. The Challenge gives educators, parents and schools the opportunity to make a pledge daily to teach their students about financial literacy.

This spring, until June 25, at 5 p.m. ET, schools will have the opportunity once again, to enter the Challenge for a chance to win $10,000 to support finance education in their school. For more information on the challenge, visit the Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids Contest page.

Past winners include St. Mary's School in Bellevue, Nebraska, Larry Miller Intermediate School in New Concord, Ohio and Olympic View Elementary School in Chula Vista, CA.
